Boots of the South are the creations of the Ice Barbarians of Icewall Glacier. These boots are made from the hides of polar bears, and blessed by the shaman of the tribe.

These boots enable the wearer to travel across snow at normal speed, leaving no tracks in the process.

Boots of the South also enable the wearer to travel across even the most slippery ice at half speed, provided the ice is a horizontal surface.

Finally, Boots of the South warm the wearer as if he were affected by an endure elements (cold) spell.
