Defender of Qualinost

D&D 3e (3.0/3.5) Rules

Even before the Qualinesti left their homeland and fled to Ergoth, an order of elves protected their homeland from outsiders and rogue monsters. After the elven people left, members of this order remained behind to defend their homeland from the Dragon Armies and anyone who may try to loot the elven homeland.
Hit Die: d10.

Prerequisites

Race: Qualinesti elf.
Base Attack Bonus: +5.
Skills: Hide 5 ranks, Listen 4 ranks, Move Silently 5 ranks, Spot 4 ranks.
Feats: Far Shot, Point Blank Shot, Precise Shot, Rapid Shot.

Class Skills

Climb (Str), Handle Animal (Cha), Heal (Wis), Hide (Dex), Knowledge (Qualinesti) (Int), Listen (Wis), Move Silently (Dex), Search (Int), Spot (Wis), and Wilderness Lore (Wis).
Skill Points at each level: 4 + Int mod.

Class Features

Weapon and Armour Proficiencies: Defenders of Qualinost are proficient with all simple and martial weapons, and light armour.

Native of Qualinost: At 1st level, the Defender of Qualinost gains a +2 insight bonus on Wilderness Lore checks and related skill checks whilst within the borders of Qualinesti.

Phantoms of the Forest: At 2nd level a Defender can move through the forests of Qualinesti as though the forest was open ground.

At One with the Forest: At 3rd level, a Defender gains a +10 competence bonus to Hide checks while within the forest of Qualinesti.

Move like the Wind: At 4th level, a Defender no longer suffers armour check penalties on Hide and Move Silently checks.

One Shot Kill: Non-magical arrows fired by the Defender have a critical threat range of 18-20. This ability does not stack with that provided by keen weapons.

Flight of the Dragon. At 6th level, once per day, a Defender can nominate an attack to gain a +20 insight bonus to hit. At 9th level this increases to twice per day.

One Shot, One Kill: At 7th level, non-magical arrows fired by a Defender have a critical threat range of 16–20. This ability does not stack with keen weapons or the one shot kill ability.

Spirit of the Bow. At 8th level, a Defender gets +4 to hit when using an elven made bow.

Blessed Death. At 10th level, once per day, a Defender can cause any one arrow fired (must nominate before shot is fired) to cause an instant death. This arrow causes instant death unless the target makes a Fort Save (DC 20+damage dealt).
