Clerist (Prestige Class Variant)D&D 3e (3.0/3.5) Rulesby Trampas WhitemanThe Order of Clerists is a suborder of the Knights of the Sword who serve as the divine spellcasters of the Knights of Solamnia. They are the very soul of the Knighthood, conveying the divine will of Kiri-Jolith. This prestige class variant of the Clerist is designed to present an alternative method of advancing as a Clerist in a single class. Once the character has progressed through the Order of the Crown and becomes a Sword Knight, he may take levels in this class. Hit Die: d8. Requirements:To qualify to become a Clerist, a character must fulfill all the following criteria. Race: Human. In the Age of Mortals, characters with a human parent may also become Clerists. Class Skills:The Clerist's class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are Concentration (Con), Craft (Int), Diplomacy (Cha), Intimidate (Cha), Knowledge (nobility and royalty) (Int), Knowledge (religion) (Int), Profession (Wis), (Dex), and Spellcraft (Int). Skill Points at Each Level: 2 + Int modifier. Class Features:All other class features are fully described in Knightly Orders of Ansalon under Knight of the Sword, save for Aura of Good and Turn Undead, which are described under the Clerist. He also casts spells at +1 caster level at every other level.
