Description:Dathas is a dowdy young lady with long curly brown hair, which she has braided into the current styles that the ladies of Palanthus wear. She wears a plain-styled, pale-red robe with a thick leather girdle from which several pouches dangle. When travelling, she wears a thick pale-red, ankle-long cloak trimmed with fox fur. Background:Dathas grew up one of, and least attractive of many daughters to a wealthy, if minor, Palanthian noble. She lacked most of her families disposition, finding the life of a noble dull. The only thing she cared about with any passion was her father's library, where she immersed herself totally. Her father realising she would be unlikely to wed, agreed to send her for formal schooling, a rare thing for a noble's daughter, at a local school run by a White Robed wizard. The wizard instantly noticed her gifts and encouraged her to expand upon them. Within a few years, Dathas had finished schooling and had been accepted as the White Robes apprentice. She eventually travelled to far off Wayreth Forest and took her Test and declared herself to the Red Robes. Once she had passed the Test, she was approached by Dalamar the Dark, the Master of the Tower of Palanthus, to study in the tower. At the start of the Summer of Chaos, Dathas was one of the more vocal mages that was against the Conclave forming some sort of resistance against the rise of the Dark Knights. During the events of the Chaos War, Dathas learned realised that everyone was in peril, including magic and the Towers. This has spurred her into fighting. Personality:Dathas is a studious lady, never really caring about the world beyond her precious books. Dathas is loud and abrupt with people, especially when dealing with those people who falter in their faith or are distrustful of wizardry or mages. Dathas cares little about the world and feels that wizards should not interfere in the affairs of the world beyond the Towers enchanted groves.
