Her slightly pointed ears and almond shaped blue eyes clearly indicate elven-blood, but no one knows where she's from originally. Some of the patrons of Hope's End claim she has a slight Abanasinian accent intermingled with her Khur one, but if they ask her about it she just smiles and offers them another drink. Her natural charm and beauty have kept most of the Dark Knights that frequent the place from harassing her for being an elf. In fact, some of them are rather protective of her and will go out of their way to try and pick fights in defense of her "honor". Background:Mintra came to Port Balifor with a troupe of traveling entertainers three years ago. A talented dancer and singer she still performs regularly for the guests of the inn. However, during the first week Mintra and her fellow performers were in Port Balifor she was witness to a flight of red dragons razing the slums of the city, a terrifying spectacle that changed her life forever. In the ensuing chaos Mintra was nearly killed when she saved the life of a handsome Khur stranger, pushing him out of the way of some burning timber. The man however was not human at all, but a fey member of the race known only as the children of the sea. The grateful man spent the night with her at Hope's Inn, the inn where Mintra's troupe was staying, revealed his true nature to her and blessed her as a friend to all fey for her selfless action. The half-elf fell in love with Gurin immediately and when here troupe departed the next day Mintra elected to stay behind. The mysterious child of the sea was enamored with her enough to remain in Port Balifor for about a week, before the siren call of the sea was too much for him. One morning Mintra awoke to find that Gurin gone. The pinion feather of a sea gull was all she found to acknowledge that he had even been there at all. She pined for him for weeks and instead of trying to catch up with her entertainer friends she stayed in town on the off-chance her fey lover would return. Eventually she even took a job at Hope's End, where she was still living, and before long Port Balifor became her home. She eventually discovered that the feather was magic and when activated it would transform into a sea gull capable of carrying a written message anywhere on Krynn. Immediately she sent a note to Gurin, but to no avail. The magic bird returned a week later, unable to find her beloved. Even now, years later, she still sends the magic gull out weekly, searching for her lost love. Mintra now owns Hope's End.
