I Think I'm a Clone Now

Recommended for games set during the 'Not Applicable' time period.

Characters wake in some strange laboratory or prison underground. They have no idea of who they are -- not even their names -- where they are and how did they got in this place. After a while, they manage to escape...

Much later, they find out that they are in fact clones of some politically important people. There is some group of bad guys who where trying to control some faction of goverment or royal court of some kind, by replacing the actual people with controllable 'puppets'. Something went wrong however; before they were able to kidnad and/or murder the actual people, the replacable clone puppets somehow -- perhaps by divine intervention -- became intelligent, self-aware and gained souls...
