Jansburg is a small village of Solamnia that is located just south of a fork in the Vingaard River. Across the river and directly north is Vingaard Keep.

Age of Dreams

It was here that the squire Berthel Brightblade fought off Goblin and Hobgoblin attackers saving the town and a Dwarf named Romgar Firesteel. The dwarf later went on to make the Brightblade.

One source said the village was downriver from the High Clerist's Tower and Castle DeHodge, but the Vingaard River does not come near the High Clerist's Tower on the other side of the Vingaard Mountains.
