Fenalysten

Fenalysten (Birth: ?), is a two hundred foot Red Dragon who is aggressive, hot-headed and ambitious. He is also a native dragon of Krynn, who was once earmarked as the next clan leader of the red dragons. However when he first settled in the Estwilde region in 399 AC, he set about destroying his reputation amongst his own kind. The self-centred Fenalysten willfully attacked lesser red dragons in a bid to grow more powerful so that he could one day grow to be an equal of the mighty Overlords. The temper of Fenalysten became legendary during the early days of the Age of Mortals, and there was not a more unstable and selfish dragon on Ansalon at this time. By the time an end was called to the Dragon Purge, Fenalysten had claimed the upper part of the Estwilde region, between Nightlund and Neraka.

The Age of Mortals

Once Fenalysten had solidified his domain in Estwilde, he then turned his eye towards the realm of Lorrinar and also towards the other Dragonlords and overlords. However with Malys calling an end to the Dragon Purge, Fenalysten was forced into accepting the size of his domain. Throughout the next part of the Age of Mortals, Fenalysten had the local Goblin tribes and several platoons of Draconians agree to serve under him, and then set about forcing the centaurs, Humans and Dwarven residents into falling under the sway of his minions, to work in his slave camps.

A cruel master who always idolized Malys and wishes to follow in her footsteps (except for the fact about her death). Much like her, Fenalysten flies over his realm constantly and terrorises the inhabitants. The only place he leaves untouched is the city of Firstwal, which he sends his draconian forces to raid constantly for supplies. The red dragon has been negotiating with the Knights of Neraka for some time in regards to forming an alliance. This alliance would provide him with the forces needed to overcome Lorrinar. The red dragon wants to become the most powerful creature upon Krynn, but realises his limitations. For now, he is content to scheme and slowly grow in power.

Titles and Nicknames

Amidst certain other titles and honorifics, the red dragon Fenalysten, is most commonly known to humans as Cinder.
