Quinari's beauty was said to have been unrivaled by any other elf maiden, and that even dragons were in awe of her beauty. She was also considered very wise and kind.

First Dragon War

During the First Dragon War, Quinari would move among the fallen dragons, singing to them and asking for E'li's healing hand to touch them. She became what was known as a Dragonsinger. For this, the dragons formed an alliance with the elves to try and defeat Takhisis's children.

During one encounter with the Gold Dragon Gloranthia, Quinari was taken into the confidence of the dragons. It was revealed to Quinari the secret place of the dead for dragons called the Dragons' Graveyard. After that, Quinari would use her magic to take the dragon's bodies to the graveyard and off the battlefield.

When the war ended, Gloranthia again came to Quinari to remove from her the knowledge of where the graveyard is located.

Post First Dragon War

Following the war, Quinari married Silvanos in a political marriage between two Houses in order to better solidify the strength of the throne. Eventually their marriage blossomed into great love for one another.

Together they jointly ruled to create one of the most powerful nations in Silvanesti. When Silvanos died, and then shortly after Quinari, the dragon Gloranthia again appeared before the elven people and told them of what Quinari did during the war. Even E'li came and assured the elven people that her body would be put in a place of great honor. So with that, E'li wrapped her body in a shroud of woven starlight and disappeared into the night.

Items of Note

A few places and items have been named after her, including the Palace of Quinari and the Key of Quinari.

Inconsistencies

Over the years, some elves have come to call her Quinara instead of Quinari.
