Pneumaticoperationspressurefitterandchydraulicmakerwelderextraordinairephilosoph.. (? - Late Summer, 545 PC) or Pneumo for short, was a Gnome who created the first submersible called the Whalefish sometime before the year 545 PC. He was known to have had a long beard.

Captain Pneumo met an elf by the name of Kerrick Fallabrine when he crashed into and sunk Kerrick's ship Cutter. He assisted Kerrick in escaping from Dracoheim on his submersible. The submersible was later sunk in the White Bear Sea near Brackenrock, and Captain Pneumo went down with his ship and died.
