Desolate Maiden

The Desolate Maiden is an undead creature that lives in the oceans of Krynn. It sings a haunting melody to attract prey. The song of a Maiden is hypnotic, tempting its victims with false promises and visions of happier times. When in close proximity of the creature it is almost impossible to resist the effects of the song.

The Maiden is a giant jellyfish with soft, glowing skin. In place of organs is a desiccated corpse of a Dimernesti female maiden with empty eye sockets, wisps of delicate white hair, and a black tooth grin. Up close, the elf maiden's features change into that of an uncannily beautiful female and the jellyfish melts away into a soft radiance.

One famous Desolate Maiden called the Dead Well home.
