Citadel Advisors are the rarest type of Citadel Masters. They serve as ambassadors from the Citadel of Light to the governments of the free realms of Ansalon. Goldmoon organized the advisors in 396 AC. The main responsibility of advisors is to educate the rulers about the Citadel and its message. Advisors typically have mastered three mystic spheres one of these spheres includes sensitivity. As long as the Mystic does not find the ruler to be dark of spirit they can teach the ruler Mysticism. Advisors are typically of a social class that would be at ease in royal courts. They are accompanied by Citadel Guardians when they are off the island of Schallsea.

By the year 416 AC, there were Citadel Advisors at the Castle Uth Wistan (Gunthar), Haven (Abanasinia), Qué-Shu (Abanasinia), Gwynned (Northern Ergoth), Solanthus (Solamnia), North Keep (Nordmaar), and Sea Reach (Saifhum). Lady Crysania Tarinius was the Citadel Advisor counseling the Knights of Solamnia in Gunthar.
