Nightrunners are wolf-like humanoid creatures that have leathery fingers and can speak. They hunt, like wolves, in packs and eat their meat raw.

Pre-War of the Lance

A group of nightrunners were hounded and driven from anywhere they lived. The pack traveled over the mountains settled in a forest near Thunder Notch in the Forsaken Mountains. The leader of the pack at this time was Kyanor. He declared that any that hunted in their woods would die.
