Spire MountainsArticle written by UzielThe Spire Mountains are a broad mountain range that encircle Hitehkel, in the centre of the continent of Taladas. The mountains are a result of the volcanic activity that followed the Great Destruction, and they are filled with raging volcanoes and geyser basins. The Spire Mountains have formed into hexagonal columns and narrow peaks over the last few centuries. The mountains are the traditional home of the Gnomes of Taladas, and the only true settlement of this race other than that in the Bilo Columns. The ranges are also home to a number of the Othlorx, who command vast portions of the peaks. The Spire Mountains are also commonly known as the Itomyadnali, or the "Mountains of Towers".
